We were here for dinner, only booking 15min prior. We found the staff to be very attentive and really pleasant and thoroughly professional. Watching them as worked through service, it was clear to see they are at the top of their game. But then there is the food. We have just discovered our new favourite restaurant for Gnocchi. The “Gnocchi Pomodoro e Pesto” was soft and light, falling apart when placed in the mouth, but just firm enough to survive cooking and service. The delicious “Napolentana & basil pesto sauce” reminded us of great times spent being in Italy. The “Pappardelle al Ragu di Cinghiale” was one of the better pappardelle I have had. The texture of the pasta was just right and when combined with the beautifully soft and pleasantly flavoured Wild Boar Ragu, made for a wonderful combination that was thoroughly enjoyed. The only curious thing was the “Antipasto Italiano” platter that was described as “cured meats & pickled vegetables”. The platter was defiantly biased toward the cured meat side of the spectrum, with only a very small portion of pickled vegetables. Not so much a problem, but id was just not quite what we were expecting to see. Food, staff and atmosphere all 10/10.
